Literally no one cares 🙄

None of them had ever painted before Some always wanted to and never tried The first session they were curious and excited By the third they were mixing their own colors Every layer adds something Every small detail finds its place These paintings were not made by artists They were made by people who sat down and kept going If you have been waiting for the right moment this is it… #jewishart #jerusalemart #art #judaicart #decorating

One thing I want to clarify: When I say there might be a compelling reason to share something, I’m not only talking about safety concerns. Maybe it affects a decision both parents need to make. Maybe it directly impacts the other parent. Maybe my child is asking me to help conceal something from the other parent that I believe they have a legitimate reason to know. There are lots of considerations! And of course, I’m not suggesting this is the only reasonable way to approach the situation. It’s simply the approach that makes the most sense to me, based on what I value and how I understand my responsibilities as a parent. And for those of us who are Orthodox Jews, there’s another consideration: This isn’t only a question of personal opinion. There are also halachos about revealing information someone shared with us privately, even when the information itself isn’t lashon hara. Of course, there are circumstances where sharing may be permitted or necessary, and specific situations may call for a shaila.

If you’ve never tasted jerky munch I fear you are missing out of feeling real happiness.

This corner of my studio has been waiting. A blank canvas on the easel. Gold cups lined up on the table. A palette nobody was allowed to touch. Today I tied on the apron. Squeezed out the first colors. Picked up the knife. I can’t tell you what it is yet. I can only tell you that I have been dreaming about it for a very long time, and that something is finally starting. Turn on notifications. You are going to want to be here when I say more. #jewishart #art #judaicart #decorating
