She asked for Kever Rachel in the exact colors of her home When a woman asks for Rachel Imeinu she is not really asking for a painting She is asking to feel close to her Close to the mother who stands on the road and cries for her children and does not stop praying for them Not only on her yahrzeit Not only when we travel to her Every day in the middle of an ordinary morning in her own living room So I did not want Rachel to feel like a visitor in that room I painted her in the colors that were already there The soft grey of the walls The warm taupe of the chair A touch of gold The tree the tomb the people walking toward her all in the same quiet tones Now when she walks past that wall she is not looking at a picture She is passing by her mother Thinking about a painting that brings you closer to a place that holds your heart Send me a message and tell me about it #KeverRachel #RachelImeinu #customart #JewishArt #Judaica commission

Homemade Sourdough Bread 🍞 The Nourished Table Fresh homemade sourdough bread, made right in the bread machine! No commercial yeast, no refined sugar, and no complicated folding or shaping. Just simple ingredients, an overnight rise, and fresh bread in the morning. Ingredients - 1 cup (240g) active sourdough starter - 3 cups (360g) bread flour - ¾ cup (180g) water - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 1 tablespoon honey - 1½ teaspoons salt Instructions 1. Prepare your starter Feed your sourdough starter and allow it to become bubbly and active. You can refrigerate it at its peak and use it the following day. 2. Mix and knead Add all the ingredients to your bread machine. Select the KNEAD setting and knead for approximately 20–25 minutes, until the dough is smooth and elastic. 3. Let it rise overnight Leave the dough in the bread machine with the machine turned off and the lid closed. Allow it to rise for 10 hours, until it's noticeably puffy and approximately 50–75% larger. 4. Bake Once the dough has risen, select the BAKE-only setting. Bake for 55 minutes, until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 200–205°F. 5. Cool and enjoy! Remove the bread from the machine and let it cool on a wire rack for at least an hour before slicing. A little tip 💚 This is a soft, sandwich-style sourdough rather than a traditional crusty artisan loaf. Perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, and toast! Note: Overnight rising works best in a cool kitchen. In a warmer kitchen, the dough may rise faster and need to be baked sooner. #TheNourishedTable #HomemadeSourdough #BreadMachineBread #NoRefinedSugar #HomemadeBread
She never left the road When I painted this I was thinking about one picture Am Yisrael walking out of exile toward redemption And on the side of the road Rachel crying for her children refusing to be comforted For years she stood there and watched them go and prayed for every single one to come back Then Hashem answered her Hold back your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears for there is reward for your work and your children will come home Look at the road in this painting It is full They are coming back And she is still standing there to welcome them Amen #RachelImeinu #KeverRachel #Geula #JewishArt #Judaica
